Summary:
The Operations Analyst will work as part of the Production Operations department supporting the measurement, lease operation, and gas control teams. The role of the Operations Analyst is to support, design and implement technical solutions focused on process improvement and efficiency. The Operations Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the daily activities of all aforementioned teams and business goals and work to develop business processes and innovative technical solutions that focus on; 1) improving communications among teams; 2) Turning data from multiple sources into information that can be used to make business decisions; 3) Saving time ; 4) Innovation.

Responsibilities:
- Build reports from multiple data sources utilizing SSRS or Spotfire
- Support and enhance the departments existing SSRS reports
- Develop and support the departments SharePoint site focusing on utilizing workflows and business processes to drive efficiency and improved communications
- Create data analysis tools for the department utilizing tools like Power Pivot and SSAS focused on multidimensional analysis.
- Work departments on developing and documenting business processes around daily operations
- Act as liaison between operations department and corporate IT for all architecture and higher level development needs. Work with IT to make sure the tools and systems we are using are aligned with the overall corporate roadmap.

Requirements:
- 4 year degree in Engineering, Information Technology or related field and 4 years of experience or Associates Degree in Engineering technology, Information Technology and 10 years of experience
- Oil and Gas experience

Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written, oral, and project management skills
- Report Writing (SSRS or Spotfire)
- Understanding of Relational Database Management Systems and concepts (SQL, normalization, entity relationship diagrams)
- Understanding of Analytical Processing concepts ( data mining, denormalization, data cubes, multidimensional analysis)
- Understanding of Object Oriented programming concepts
- SharePoint (lists, workflows, access services, excel services, Nintex forms, BCS)
- Strong ability to listen and think outside of the box
- Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle
- Understanding of Automation, Controls and SCADA systems
