Husky's Rainbow Lake Operations is currently looking for a Plant Lead.
Specific responsibilities will include:

Scope identification, AFE preparation and detailed engineering and construction package preparation for various projects and MOC activities
Interface with Operations, Maintenance and the Business Unit on MOC and project scopes and execution to ensure operational integrity of field facilities
Facilitating or participating in Process Hazard Assessments
Procurement, cost control, construction implementation and construction contract management
Providing mentorship and technical approval for engineers-in-training
Responsible for project & MOC execution
Providing supervision and direction to multiple on-site Husky Representatives

Requirements:
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

A professional engineer recognized by APEGGA with at least 15 years of experience, preferably in a process facility environment
Working knowledge of CSA Z662, B31.1, B31.3, ASME Sec VIII
Working knowledge of OH&S, AEUB, ASRD, AEP regulations and requirements
Proven excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; capable of working in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced multi-disciplinary work environment while managing multiple priorities
A valid, clean Class 5 driver’s license is required

As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessments.
As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, applicants are asked to provide a recent (i.e., issued within the previous 4 weeks) original driver’s abstract for the preceding 3 year period when appearing for an interview.
The successful candidate must reside in, or be willing to relocate to Rainbow Lake.
Rainbow Lake is located in the Northwest corner of Alberta, approximately 140 km west of High Level. It is a family oriented community with 1,200 people serviced by extensive recreation facilities, a health care facility, and both primary and secondary schools. Husky's Rainbow Lake Operations offer some of the most technically challenging and varied experience in the oil and gas industry. The Rainbow District consists of sweet and sour oil and gas wells, with gathering facilities that send the production to a large central processing plant. The oil and gas is sweetened at the plant before being shipped to sales or used for re-injection. The district has more than 100 local employees and another 25 full time contractors. Relocation to Rainbow Lake is required.
