Crescent Point is currently seeking to fill the following position:



Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer “COO” and Vice President, Exploration and Geosciences



The following will provide you with basic guidelines as to the duties required of this position.



Purpose:



The Executive Assistant is a high profile position that represents the company and senior executive team to key stakeholders both internally and externally. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the day to day tasks of the COO and VP, Exploration and Geosciences while providing technical administrative support with any tasks that are requested. This position handles highly confidential material and therefore requires an individual who can deal with this in the utmost professional manner.



Main Responsibilities & Activities:

Serve as principal point of support for the COO and VP, Exploration and Geosciences in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Co-ordinate the COO and VP, Exploration and Geosciences’ schedule, and organize meetings with multiple executives and various internal and external stakeholders
Arrange business travel by coordinating agendas and booking flights, hotel and car reservations
Assist with building and maintaining technical spreadsheets as required
Maintain and update the COO and VP, Exploration and Geosciences internal and external contact list
Greet clients and visitors and escort them to the appropriate meeting room
Promptly receive and screen incoming telephone calls by eliciting necessary information to allow timely and accurate responses
File and retrieve corporate documents, records and reports
Complete and process expense reports and maintain detailed records of expenses
Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution
Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence
Arrange special events as required
Conduct all interactions in a professional and pleasant manner

Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Business or Communications degree or diploma is required
Minimum 10 years relevant work experience is required
Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry is required
Ability to work outside regular business hours as required to accommodate business and travel schedules
Excellent computer skills with in depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel and Power Point
High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential information
Experience dealing with government affairs would be an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
High level of accuracy, excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize is required
Ability to problem solve and provide effective solutions is required
Strong initiative and proactive approach to daily tasks is required
Must possess the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
Must be analytical, strategic, mature and thoughtful
Must have an affinity for nurturing business relationships
Self-starter with strong organizational skills capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Team player who enjoys learning and contributing to team goals
