Crescent Point is currently seeking to fill the following position:



Job Title: Junior Supply Chain Analyst

Location: SE Saskatchewan

Reports to: Lead, Supply Chain Management Specialist


The following will provide you with basic guidelines as to the duties required of this position.



Purpose:

The Junior Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for key commercial matters and contractual activities that support Crescent Point’s field operations. This position deals with highly confidential material and therefore requires an individual who can deal with this in the utmost professional manner.



Main Responsibilities & Activities:

Overall support for field operations and development by working with the Senior Supply Chain Management Specialist to determine the appropriate sourcing strategy and justification ensuring compliance with procurement policy
Gather key information to prepare RFX packages, bid evaluations and create documents such as pricing agreements and purchase orders
Monitor and assist in developing demand forecasts for key categories
Recommend initiatives for improvements and increasing cost savings by negotiating favorable commercial terms
Implement Service/Supply/Pricing agreements as identified
Identify new suppliers as required who can potentially provide goods and services at the lowest total cost/best value
Keep up with market trends and conditions (pricing, availability, lead-times, capacity etc.) for goods and services
Supporting fleet management activities including tracking, truck utilization and preparing monthly performance reports
Develop and maintain strong relationships internal stakeholders in order to achieve buy-in and support

Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Post secondary education in Business Management, Engineering, Construction Management or Business Law is required
Minimum 3 years of oil and gas industry related experience is required
Experience in various supply management and supply industries roles in support of oil field operations would be an asset
Knowledge of contract law and its application in the purchasing process is an asset
Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills are required
Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel
Must be well organized and able to multi-task and prioritize
Excellent analytical, negotiation and influencing skills are required
Team player who enjoys learning and contributing to team goals
