Description:
Crescent Point is currently seeking to fill the following position:



Job Title: Inventory and Tangible Assets Analyst

Location: SW Saskatchewan

Reports to: Supply Chain Management Specialist


The following will provide you with basic guidelines as to the duties required of this position.



Purpose:



The Inventory and Tangible Assets Analyst is responsible for the tracking and control of OCTG in and out of the yards as well as other tangible assets stored in various locations in Western Canada and deployed in the company’s development areas.



Main Responsibilities & Activities:

Assist in the management and record keeping of all material transfers
Reporting the monthly inventory levels and financial transactions
Ensure material reconciliations are properly conducted against physical counts and facilitate spot audits of physical locations
Assist materials management with setting pricing on rentals within various locations
Support surplus sales requirements by identifying surplus assets within the various field locations; this may include both travel, as well as documenting and assessing material conditions
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and consistent reporting of activity
Assist with process development within various locations
Work with purchasing to buy new inventory and ensure proper allocation of inventory items across vendors
Assist with division of work and vacation coverage of staff at individual storage/yard locations
Travel to various locations as required

Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Post secondary education in Business Management, Engineering, Construction Management or Business Law is required
Minimum 3 years of oil and gas industry related experience is required
Experience in materials management, OCTG and familiarity with production/process equipment, and/or Material Transfers processes would be an asset
Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of field and office personnel
Ability to operate a loader would be an asset
Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills are required
Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks, Wellview and Q-Byte would be an asset
Must be well organized and able to multi-task and prioritize
Team player who enjoys learning and contributing to team goals
