Role Summary/Purpose
The Application Engineer Intern will support preparation of technical proposals for centrifugal compressors / gas turbines / expanders and be responsible for related technical activities prior to the contract signature.
Essential Responsibilities
Design the most convenient/competitive solutions for the requested service, highlighting any possible alternative that may bring value to GE proposition
Develop internal and customer technical presentations for the proposed solution
Support preparation of technical proposal in compliance with Company process and procedures
Prepare the cost budget of the proposed solution using bidding tools and/or all relevant information
Follow-up the development of the deal, together with Commercial Team interface with Customer and coordinate internal resources to support the technical clarification stage

Requirements:
Qualifications/Requirements
Current enrollment in
a bachelor's or master's degree program in Engineering discipline
Fluent in written
& spoken English and Russian
Understanding of rotating equipment (centrifugal compressor, gas turbine, expander) is desired
Knowledge of the main Oil and Gas industry processes and technologies (Liquefied Natural Gas industry, gas transportation, storage and reinjection) is desired
Basic thermodynamics knowledge is desired
